Card Hotfix
In order to address immediate balance concerns from Thursday's patch, we are hotfixing two cards;
INSANITY: This card's cost was increased to 7 gold. You can now disenchant Insanity for the full price in shards if desired.
FORTRESS OF THE RED TIDE: This card was given an extra 1 move speed when it comes into play, so that it can hop past the castle. No other changes were made to this card.

New Scenarios and Draft!
We are excited to announce our content patch for January 22nd, The Ancient Hero returns! For this patch we will be adding a new viking legendary Brynjolf the Ancient Hero. Brynjolf will be obtainable through a related campaign of 10 scenarios. Unlock these scenarios using EITHER CP OR BP and complete all 10 to earn the new Brynjolf legendary and other powerful cards!
This patch will also introduce the NEW DRAFT CONTEST, a fully revamped and new version of the Draft Mode. Our new Draft will have a much simpler and more fun deck building system where you pick cards one or two at a time from small random sets! We will also be greatly improving the rewards from Draft, especially for new players, and changing the pricing. The new Draft will cost 500 CP to enter and all players will be guaranteed a MINIMUM of one card pack and FIVE matches as a reward, plus a randomized prize pool which increases in value the more games you win. You can also earn additional games up to a total of 9 games and the chance to earn even better prizes!
Draft will be a completely new and awesome experience and we are all here anxiously awaiting its release so we can get in on some true drafting! Expect to see many small but significant quality of life and interface improvements with this patch as well!

Quest Rewards Increased!
To make it easier for players to pay for the new draft mode, launching this Thursday, we have slightly increased the CP rewards from quests. Although this change is intended for Thursday's release, we decided to roll it out a little early as a thank you to all our loyal players. Happy questing!

We wanted our users to be aware that due to an upgrade in our login system, many users will not be logged in to their account when they upgrade the app. You should be able to log in using your username and password in the OPTIONS menu. We've begun a new ranking season! This time, users under rank 5 did not have their rank reset. Everyone else has had their rank cut in half. If you are currently playing, the reward popup will not appear until you restart the app. Thank you!

Server Upgrade + Card Point Bonus
Due to the overwhelming number of new users, we have restarted our servers and upgraded to increase capacity and reduce connection issues. We are heavily monitoring the systems right now. We appreciate your patience and will provide additional card points for the inconvenience.

Draft Rewards Tweak
We've tweaked draft rewards to be slightly better overall and toned down the random variance. We received feedback from users who rolled onto the low side of the random rewards that the draft mode was not rewarding enough, and have toned down the variance greatly; now users should always receive the base amount of CP plus a small randomized bonus. Users who win a lot of games will also have a chance to win extra rewards IN ADDITION TO the standard rewards for their win tier, such as an extra foil or rare card. Bit Point rewards and extra packs are still deducted from the base reward due to their excellent value. We hope these changes make the draft mode more rewarding and enjoyable for all our users!
Brynjolf's Blessing Hotfix
We've received a lot of complaints about perceived hacking due to the quirky behavior of Brynjolf's Blessing; currently this card is actually an ENCHANT but lacked the client data to give it an icon or appear in the enchant list. Essentially it is an invisible enchant, and this has caused many users to complain that enemy players are cheating. We want to alleviate this confusion immediately, so we are hotfixing Brynjolf's Blessing to no longer act as an enchant; it is now a one-turn buff. This is in line with our upcoming balance patch anyway.
As with all nerfed cards, Brynjolf's Blessing can now be disenchanted for its FULL shard value for a limited time! Although I don't recommend doing that, since this card is still extremely powerful even without being an enchant.
