We wanted to give advance notice that Tower of Scribes is changing substantially as a part of the previous legendary system patch, however this change cannot be applied until after an iOS client patch. Expect this card to change completely after our June 12th iOS update!

We are proud to announce that after our June 12th iOS update, our new live match feature will be available to all players! Live matches are an alternative to asynchronous multiplayer, allowing you to sit down and complete a full game against another player in a short amount of time. Our June 12th iOS update will also add music, single player scenarios, more cards and many other improvements!

Along with today's update we have added 16 new cards to the base set! Exciting new mechanics abound! We also have larger booster options available in the store! LIVE MATCHES are also activated for all users! For now, the Quick Match button will direct players to a live match so that the feature will receive more use. All the original asynchronous play options can still be accessed from the Custom Match menu.

Live matches have been enabled! Live matches are an alternative to asynchronous play, allowing you to quickly complete a full match. Opponents can see each other move and undo in real-time, avoiding the need for replays and making the turn back-and-forth much faster! Give it a try and let us know what you think!

We have made a shift to our live game matchmaking queue. Matches should now be of more equal skill between the two players, but as a trade-off, queue times may be longer. Let us know how well this works out for you on our forums!

It has come to our attention that some users are having trouble with the mandatory update from the App Store. We'd like to let you know that it IS safe to delete the Cards and Castles app and local app data, AS LONG AS YOUR ACCOUNT HAS A USERNAME AND PASSWORD ATTACHED. You can use your username and password to access your account and all progress and cards from any device. However, deleting the app may reset your tutorial popups and single player matches (but not your scenario progress). We highly recommend that all players attach a username, password and email to their account for security purposes.

Library has been increased to 2 gold. Also, card point rewards have been tweaked very slightly across the board.

In mid-May we added a bunch of new cards to our core set, but because these cards are randomly mixed in with the entire core set to date a lot of our old time players have had trouble acquiring these new cards. To alleviate this, we are offering a limited-time restricted booster containing only the new cards! If you've been anxious to experiment with Ice Weapon, Flame Knight, Cloak of Flames or other exciting new mechanics this booster is the best way to get up to speed! The Recent Cards Booster will be available in the store for a limited time only, so get some before Wednesday July 2nd!
